Juno Breed: Norweigador Retrievehound This "Dogzilla" arrived at our home on March 19, 2006. We adopted Juno from a local rescue organization as a puppy to be a companion for Delilah. Juno is playful, friendly, and extremely loveable. He is also a big ol' bucket of trouble! He enjoys barking, digging, barking, chewing, and barking. His bark is near supersonic, and it's no wonder the great Elkhounds of the past were able to keep large animals like elk and moose at bay while the hunters caught up. Juno pulls on the leash like a crazed hyena, but I love him anyway. We go on walks, with Delilah of course, about the countryside to help diffuse some of that energy. Juno is a toy fiend and loves to chase and retrieve toys. He thinks that rabbits and cats were meant to be serenaded and he often keeps the neighborhood awake until I bring him inside and put him in his kennel for a siesta. Above all, Juno is a love junkie and will climb in my lap when he gets the chance- all 50 lbs of him!
