Amelia

Amelia was minutes away from a trip to the local Animal Shelter when I declared that she wasn't going anywhere - except home with me! She showed up as a kitten at my former workplace on May 22, 2004. She was found in a tree in the parking lot . . . we imagine that someone dropped her off.

Amelia is friendly and affectionate, sleek and beautiful. She looks like the Russian Blue breed. Amelia hates to be apart from her humans and her favorite place is snuggled up under my chin - all 9 1/2 lbs of her! She has the softest, silver-tipped hair and a sweet undulating purr. She is the peacemaker among our three cats, getting along with everyone.

Amelia attempts to open doorknobs if she feels that the door has been wrongfully closed. She is a grass-addict, and she loves a good game of chase-the-laser pointer. Freshly laundered washcloths are her favorite prey.
