Haven
Haven arrived at our farm on July 11, 2004 with his buddy Ivan and the llama Inca. He came from a herd of wether (neutered male goats) kids living at the Southeast Llama Rescue. Haven is a French Alpine goat, which is a dairy breed of goat. Haven vastly enjoys being petted, and can be quite a nuisance when the humans attempt to do any barnyard work, as he tends to stick to us like glue. I named Haven after my favorite biology professor from college. Unfortunately Haven has a "Napoleon" complex . . .though he isn't small at all! He likes to dominate smaller animals, like Pokey, or small children!
