Oak (Pokey)
Oak, better known as Pokey, arrived at our farm on April 22, 2007. He is a companion for Forrest, our disabled goat who cannot run with the herd. Oak is a third generation Mini-Nubian, a breed I've only learned about recently. He should grow to be about 75 lbs, less than half of Forrest's weight, so these two should be able to remain together for the long run. The first week after Oak's arrival, Forrest had to show him who was boss. However, it didn't take long for the two to bond and they are now inseparable. We are pleased as pie with how much these wethers love each other!
